Home groups
As a Christian church we believe in the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus and having real living fellowship with each other. As part of living our lives out together in a real way we meet together in small groups on the last Wednesday of every month to develop and deepen fellowship with each other. Small groups based in homes allow each person within the church to benefit from group community and fellowship.Our home groups are designed to enable:
Closer community - By being part of a small group you will get to know other people on a deeper level.
Mutual encouragement - By being part of a small group you will encourage others and be encouraged. You will make a difference in other people's lives and they will make a difference in your life.
Friendship - By being part of a small group you will find friendship.
Worship - By being part of a small group you will be involved in praising and
worshipping God in community.Caring - By being part of a small group you will give and receive care.
Mission - By being part of a small group you will be encouraged and assisted to reach out to your family and friends.
Personal Prayer Need - By being part of a small group you will be involved in real prayer for real people with real needs
Every one who comes along to Plains Evangelical is assigned to a 'home group' and we view these groups as central to the life and vitality of the church. The groups are open to anyone who would like to come along and so if you would like to join one of our groups then email here.
