Silverliners
The Silverliners are a group of older people who meet together on a Tuesday afternoon for fellowship, food, singing and a talk, all washed down with copious amounts of tea and scones you could not begin to imagine. The group starts at 2.00pm and runs on until 3.00pm, it is a truly blessed time.The speakers are of a great variety and sometimes come to share about their work, a topic or a bible study but always focussed in on Jesus. There is also the Christmas party which is a tremendous occasion where a bearded, red suited fellow usually shows up and there is also the summer trip which usually departs around mid May.
